| Precautions for the use of forklift attachments |
Forklift attachments are composed of short piston hydraulic cylinders, high-pressure rubber hoses, rubber hose winders, quick couplings, circular sealing rings, and special parts for attachments, etc. These components can be cleaned and maintained in reference to general hydraulic parts. In the use of attachments, in addition to paying attention to abnormal phenomena such as oil leakage and rupture in the pipeline system, especially the allowable load, lifting height, size of the goods, applicable range of the attachments, and width during operation of the attachments should all be strictly carried out in accordance with the performance parameter table of the attachments. Overloading and uneven loading are neither allowed.
In the use of forklifts, the thickness and length of the forks of the two paired forks should be approximately equal. After the two forks are installed on the fork frame, their upper horizontal planes should remain the same plane. Operating procedures must be strictly followed. Overloading or long-distance transportation of goods is not allowed. When moving overly long or objects whose positions are uncertain, there should be a dedicated person to direct and extra caution should be exercised. When using forks to lift goods, the fork distance should be suitable for the width of the load. The forks should be inserted as deep as possible under the load. Use the smallest possible backward tilt of the mast to stabilize the load and prevent it from sliding backward. When lowering the load, the mast can be slightly tilted forward to safely lower the goods and pull out the forks. When operating, the forks should be placed at a low speed as much as possible, with a height of 30 to 40mm from the ground being appropriate. The mast should be tilted backward appropriately. During driving, the forks must not be raised or lowered at will. Turning on slopes or crossing slopes is strictly prohibited. Unloading is not allowed by using the forks to flip over pallets. It is strictly prohibited to directly shovel and transport dangerous goods and flammable materials with forks. It is not allowed to operate with a single fork or use inertial force to lift goods. It is even more forbidden to use braking inertia to roll down circular or easily rolling goods
